Groomsmen Gifts in the Most Wanted List

Gifts Groomsmen Covet

Men are lousy shoppers yet they are a hard nut to crack when you’re shopping gifts for them. But would a man doing the shopping for another do a better job? That’s something interesting to find out before you shop for groomsman gifts.

Before picking up that silver plated engraved cufflinks, and the pewter flasks step back and rethink your choices.  Will they be receiving the same things?  How will you make these special and memorable? You need not worry about these trivialities.  Groomsmen are fully aware these are traditional gifts and they would give the same items to their groomsmen. Touch!

But it would not hurt to know what groomsmen covet for gifts and perhaps, you want the same things too.  Let’s take a look at the top ten most wanted gifts by groomsmen, if they had the choice:
* Google phone
* Blu-ray subscription
* AIWA 7 inch portable DVD
* Sony Network Sharing Camera
* Slingbox Sol for the
* Amazon Kindle
* Personal Assistant Robot
* Leopard print taser
* Personal lie detector test
* Silver bracelets

These goodies would too hard to resist but are these appropriate for gifts for groomsmen?  Not all the time, though these would make perfect gifts for birthdays and for those personal milestones worth celebrating.

Going Traditional

Going the traditional way is to stay a hair crack away from uncertainty; plus when you’re unsure of the best way to go, you can bet your life on:
* A travel alarm clock
* An engraved Swiss Army knife with all the useful curiosities
* Cufflinks to match their tuxedos
* Executive engraved pens
* Leather magnetic money clips
* Personalized barware
* Classic boxed table clocks
* Weekender bags
* Vintage keepsake boxes

Cheap or Expensive?

With prices of almost everything hurrying to go out of style, your groomsmen are not expecting luxury items. But there is decorum to follow.  If you are splurging on a lavish wedding, perish the thought of under $10 gifts for your dapper groomsmen!  These will not recompense for their expenses and efforts such as taking two days off from work, paying for their air fare or hotel accommodation, and renting classy tuxedos - not that they’re expecting a gift to match their expenses, but the whole thing seems unfair.

It is not right to give expensive watches to your groomsmen if you are just spending $6000 or less for your wedding; you’ll have your stalwarts squirming in their seats wondering what spirit possessed you to be so extravagant.  They might return the gifts!  Save yourselves the trouble with cheap but practical gifts; they won’t mind because they will understand you are not a CEO in a NYC financial district.

Cheap, expensive, or zany gifts for your groomsmen - it is for you to decide.  You know your friends warts and all and you know which one should receive a specific gift never mind if it is not the most wanted list, they will treasure their gifts as much as they value your friendship.
