Friends of ours recently got engaged and the news took us by surprise. These two were actually childhood friends who have not seen each other in over 25 years. But on a chance encounter barely two months ago, they were reunited, so to speak. And sparks instantly flew from this encounter.
The wedding is going to happen in six months. You can say that this is a whirlwind romance and that being bitten and broken by love so many times before, one would like to think that they really took the time to understand their true feelings. But then again, my friends are old enough to decide what they want to do with their life. So, in this path they’ve chosen, I have nothing but support for them. On their engagement party, I gave them this Our First Toasting Flutes, to celebrate their union.
The engagement, as my friend told happened one night when the two of them were just eating ice cream together at the sofa. There wasn’t even a ring present but the groom-to-be just felt the moment and couldn’t pass it up. He says, it just hit him and he knew she was going to be the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
Ain’t love wonderful?
