Sony Ericsson mobile phones seem to get better and better with every release. Of course, there have been a few blips along the way but it cannot be said that their latest offering, the Sony Ericsson Vivaz, is one of them. A mid-price phone with a touchscreen interface, it is classed as a Symbian Smartphone and certainly has capabilities that mobile phone users tend to look for these days, but what could the affordable Sony Ericsson Vivaz do for you?

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz is a phone that can apparently do it all on paper. It has a range of fabulous features that should really not all fit together on an affordable mid-priced handset and yet somehow do. It also has a visual appeal that would suit all users. Available in ruby red, blue, silver and the usual black, there is a handset to suit males, females, casual users and business users alike. The 3.2 inch TFT screen will also go some way to attract the average user because, as is only right on a touchscreen, it dominates the Sony Ericsson Vivaz handset. It also has clean lines. However, the beauty of the Sony Ericsson Vivaz is not solely skin deep. It runs much deeper than that.

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz’s feature list is incredibly impressive. It lists a music player with excellent sound quality, high definition video capabilities, GPS with Google Maps, an incredible 8.1MP camera and a Facebook app. This list is nowhere near exhaustive but it does give you a hint of what it can do. The camera deserves special attention though. It is a phenomenal camera that produces clear images, as you may expect from 8.1MP. It also has LED flash, face detection autofocus, smile detection, 4x digital zoom and geo-tagging. The screen helps to display the images in all their glory too so it really is a fantastic feature.

There are other lovely touches that deserve an honourable mention though. For example, the memory is excellent with up to 16GB supported by a microSD card. You can store all your photos, HD videos and music files on that with absolutely no need for deleting any of them at any stage. There are also some excellent apps to choose from. The FIFA edition of the Sony Ericsson Vivaz, for example, has a football app that will provide live score updates and links to Twitter and Facebook. Finally, the connectivity is pretty good too, with WiFi, TV-Out, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth and USB all on board.

There are a few slight niggles that may detract from these amazing features. For example, the phone is not the most reliable on the market. It does have a tendency to freeze if you open too many apps and the battery life is not as good s you may expect but these are only slight niggles in what is otherwise an excellent phone. Get the Sony Ericsson Vivaz and choose from a range of contracts and free gifts at http://emobilephonedeals.co.uk . The Sony Ericsson Vivaz is available for affordable mobile phone deals.

If you are on a budget and really can’t bring yourself to pay the high price that some phone manufactures are asking, then you might want to consider the LG KP500 Cookie. It may not have all the “bells and whistles” of some other phones (step forward Apple), but it has most of the features people want in a mobile.

Appearance:

This is a stylish and brilliantly designed phone packed with some really good features that recall some earlier handsets. First is your choice of colors, you can choose from black, silver, gold or brown and even pink. Next is the sleek 3 inch TFT screen displaying resolutions of 240×400 and 262 colors and since it has an accelerometer so you can view the screen in horizontal or vertical. You get a virtual QWERTY keyboard and a stylus for the handwriting recognition feature.

The mobile is comfortable to use since it measures 106.5 x 55.4 x 11.9mm and weights only 89g.

LG is now joining the ranks of the big guys like Nokia, Samsung and Motorola thanks to the LG Chocolate BL20. This is a stylish little phone that doesn’t disappoint. But the LG Chocolate BL20 is not only a pretty face; it is unequaled in performance and features.

The LG Chocolate might very well be the most fashionable phone on the market today. It has a sparkly red exterior set against a matte black body, very sexy. Definitely a phone that is worth looking at with cheap mobile phone deals. The 2.4 inch screen and 262000 color QVGA display gives you a sharp and clear image on your phone. Weighing in at 115 grams is is also light and manageable without feeling cheap and is comfortable in your hand.

The navigation system is hidden and the colorful backlighting gives a sleek and glossy finish to this little slider phone. Unfortunately, the BL20 lacks the touch screen that its predecessors and other competitors offer. However the buttons that are included in the body of this device still make using this phone an great experience.

With all the high quality gizmos and gadgets that the Bl20 offers you know it’s going to need tons of memory and it does. The LG Chocolate offers an impressive internal memory of 130 megabytes with the option of an extra 8GB via a memory card. The BL20 is one of the few mobile phones that give you enough memory to cover all their features.

The first phone in the LG Chocolate line was extremely popular and the latest addition, the LG Chocolate BL20 is following in it’s footsteps offering some new features.

Like most parents, I wish for my youngest son to become interested with reading. We’ve got this All Star Sports Revolving Bookcase stacked with several books and we try our best to monitor and make sure that they spend time reading these. While my son was younger, this wasn’t a problem because the books had really interesting pictures in them. But as he grew up, the pictures are replaced with texts and I get the feeling that my son’s not motivated enough to read these.

I have no problem with him reading stuff off the internet though and he gorges information on wiki sites like a sponge. For someone so young, he’s actually very adept with this and with any kind of technology. He is wishing to get a cellular phone for his birthday but his father believes he’s still young to own one. I believe that you can’t fight technology, but it’s not all there is to it.

I made him a deal one time that if he can read enough books for the year, I may consider getting him a cellphone for Christmas. Maybe that will motivate him enough but so far, he’s still not halfway up his reading list.

How do you motivate your kids to read?
